What We Do

Volunteers help support multiple programs through packing Backpack Meals for students, assembling Senior Boxes, packing Meals for Families, sorting and packing canned goods, or sorting fresh produce.

Volunteers ages 8 and up. Anyone under 18 must be signed up by a guardian.


Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.


Volunteer Requirements & Policies:

Golden Harvest requires Volunteers to adhere to the following dress code:

Please dress in comfortable, casual clothes that can get dirty/sweaty and comfortable, closed toe shoes for standing.

  • closed toed shoes only (no sandals)
  • no athletic leggings
  • no sleeveless or cropped tops
  • skirts and shorts must be at least fingertip length
    • Volunteers who come inappropriately dressed will be asked to change before their shift
  • Volunteers should be comfortable standing for 2-3 hours in an assembly line and lifting 5-10 pounds repeatedly.
  • The use of cell phones, headphones, and earbuds is discouraged during volunteer activities.
  • Please reschedule if you feel sick or unwell
  • Golden Harvest is smoke free and drug free environment.
  • Theft, harassment, or abuse will not be tolerated.
